The Revent Newsletter - Winter 2024

Dear Reventors & Friends,
The days are short and the weather is gloomy but the Revent portfolio is on fire, keeping spirits very high around here!
Like many of you, we’re currently fully in “end-of-year-sprint” modus and are excited to make one or two new commitments to early-stage climate or health companies before the year-end. We’ve been particularly excited about new applications of AI to healthcare and green manufacturing – if you know someone extraordinary building in one of these spaces, please let us know!
With lots of positive developments in our portfolio and on the Revent team (to be announced next year), we are certainly not bored, but continue using our spare time to build out plans for Revent II, to be launched in 2025. If you’d like to learn more about the next fund, please do reach out.
Wishing you an equally exciting “Endspurt” and hope to see many of you at the events we’re hosting and attending throughout Q4.
And now, a quick rundown of what we’ve been up to the past few months.

🤝 Events & Ecosystem
In September, we teamed up with 8 other health-focused funds, including General Catalyst, Creandum, and Lightrock, to organize Healthtech Connect at Google’s Berlin headquarters. The event brought together 100+ of Europe’s top healthtech founders and ecosystem players to partake in 9 round tables, covering topics ranging from “LLM’s in Healthtech” to “Winning Europe and Going to the US”.
Throughout September and October, we continued co-hosting Super Climate from Paris to Malmö to New York City. It was amazing to see the climate funding ecosystem coalesce around the world. Thank you to all who joined us!
In November, Revent attended Norrsken Impact Week, where our GP Otto moderated a panel at Impact/Return with leading impact-focused LP’s on “How to DD Emerging Managers”.

Our Head of Research & Impact Sharon just landed in San Francisco to start exploring Revent’s newest direction - opportunities for climate & health partnerships across Europe and the US. Please reach out to sharon@revent.vc if you’re working in a similar direction - she’d love to chat!
Our investor Franca is in Helsinki at Slush this week - if you’re working in climate, health, or economic empowerment, she’d love to meet!
With that, wishing everyone a great wrap to an eventful year. Sending good vibes and early holiday season cheer from all around the world!
