While many AI startups will make some aspects of our lives or jobs better, we believe that AI can achieve much more – that there are those rare founders who will change not just a small part of how things are done, but an entire system. Founders with the ambition to improve our collective quality of life for decades to come.

Meet “Sam”, the fully autonomous AI agent for biomedical research created by Lorenzo and Benjamin from Science Machine. Sam produces real scientific insights in a fraction of the previous time and cost – building an infrastructure layer that helps researchers make discoveries faster, cheaper, and more precisely than ever before. 👷🏽♂️ How do we close the skilled labor gap currently halting progress in Europe? Arie, Laurens and team are tackling just that with Perry, the AI tool that turns complex technical knowledge into clear, step-by-step work instructions – enabling even unskilled workers to train on the job and complete tasks more safely and much faster than before. 🏠 Energy-efficient renovations are a key aspect of the energy transition, yet renovation processes are painfully slow and fragmented. When we met Wallround, it was clear that Tatiana, Lukas and Henning weren’t just building another renovation service but creating the missing infrastructure for large-scale building upgrades: a franchise-ready, AI-powered end-to-end platform that integrates every stage of the renovation process. A big shoutout also to our portfolio companies for some strong new developments. To name just a few:
Atmen received €5M in seed funding, led by Project A, to expand their platform which automates sustainability certification by integrating directly into industrial workflows – more on TFN
NZN has raised a $6.6M seed round, co-led by World Fund and Azolla Ventures, on their mission to end reliance on synthetic nitrogen – bringing their total funding to $8.3M. Read more over at TechCrunch
Avelios just announced a strategic partnership with SAP to integrate its hospital information system into SAP’s enterprise solutions, replacing SAP’s previous in-house HIS offering. More on Handelsblatt (DE)
